Terms of Service

1. Description of Service
JEvents is a cloud-based community engagement and event management platform. The service enables organizations to manage participant records, track events and 1:1 engagements, generate reports, and integrate with third-party tools.
JEvents operates as a multi-tenant platform where each registered organization, or Tenant, has its own isolated data environment. Users within a Tenant may be assigned roles with varying levels of access.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts to register for the service.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep it current.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at ariel@jevents360.com.
  • JEvents reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

3. Subscription Plans and Payment
A. Subscription Tiers
JEvents offers various subscription tiers with different features, usage limits, and pricing. The specific details of your selected plan will be provided at the time of registration or within your account dashboard.
B. Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize JEvents to charge your payment method on file for all applicable fees. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law.
C. Free Access
We may offer a version of the service at no charge, subject to specific feature and usage limits. JEvents reserves the right to modify or discontinue free access with 30 days' notice.
D. Price Changes
We will provide at least 30 days' notice before increasing subscription prices. Price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle following the notice period.
E. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Customer Data and Privacy
A. Ownership
All data you enter into JEvents remains your property. JEvents does not claim ownership of customer data.
B. License to Process
You grant JEvents a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit customer data solely to provide and improve the service.
C. Data Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all customer data you enter. You warrant that you have all necessary rights and consents to provide that data to JEvents.
D. Security
JEvents implements industry-standard security measures as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
E. Portability
You may export your data at any time using the platform export functionality. Upon termination, data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the service without written consent.
  • Use the service to send unsolicited communications (spam).
  • Resell or sublicense the service without express written permission.

6. Intellectual Property
The service, including all software, code, design, and trademarks, is owned by JEvents LLC. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service as described in these Terms.
If you submit feedback, you grant JEvents a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback without compensation.

7. Third-Party Integrations
The service may integrate with third-party platforms. JEvents is not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services. Your use of these integrations is subject to the third-party providers' own terms.

8. Service Availability and Support
JEvents will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the service available 24/7, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support is provided via email, with priority support available for certain contract types.

9. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep the other's non-public business, technical, or financial information strictly confidential. This does not apply to information that is publicly known through no breach of this agreement.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JEvents LLC from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or the customer data you provide.

13. Term and Termination
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the service. Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. JEvents may terminate immediately upon material breach.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's rules in New Jersey.

15. Modifications to Terms
JEvents may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
